Week 30

Week 30 has been fun! We were blessed by the Spartanburg Teach Them Diligently speakers and vendors but glad to be home from the conference!

Speaking of conferences, I watched a few videos from the Mom Conference online and was so inspired that I went to the grocery store and committed to only buy real foods - no processed or refined sugars. It was very successful! Aldi had so many organic items for much cheaper than the regular grocery store.
I came home and cooked up a storm, making dinner and putting things in my freezer for lunches (my most challenging meal).
We had top steak cut into strips topped with onions and Greek yogurt herb spread, with rice, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. I also put an all natural apple crisp in the freezer for a rainy day. You can make one too!

A huge praise is that Aldi also had high backed patio chair cushions for very cheap!! I have been looking and praying to find these affordable somewhere ever since we bought our patio table at Salvation Army last year. The strange thing is I was just at the store last week when all the gardening specials were out and did not see them. They fit perfect and four cost the same or less than just one cushion at Lowes or Tuesday Morning! (Did I mention I really like getting a good deal?)

Pics to come soon, or why not just stop by for dinner and we can eat outside?
