After math

Fire ant attack! Standing in the Aldi parking lot loading groceries turned to frantically stripping Drakeford of his shoes/socks/pants much to the shock of some on lookers. All I could do was laugh after it was over, it probably looked pretty funny. Drakeford took it like a champ and as he has shown from birth he has a very calm way of coping with pain or a high pain tolerance. He has not scratched or even mentioned his bites since. Praise the Lord for essential oils! God also spared him from getting hundreds of bites like so many babies I saw online when I tried to verify what kind of ant it was. But seeing as he just stood there until I rescued him, he probably would have looked the same if mama wasn't there to rescue him! By the time I looked over, he was covered in ants up to his knees! Thank you Jesus we put socks and shoes on that day!!
