Pregnancy #2

This pregnancy has flown by!! With watching Drakeford grow and hit mile stones like turning 1, giving kisses, walking, going on the potty, I can hardly believe that I am already 33 weeks pregnant!

It has been only a little different this time around. I had more nausea and food aversions and was exhausted the first three months. Thanks to my mom and mother-in-law and a friend Sarah, I was able to get some much needed rest. We were sick almost non stop through the winter and I am happy to feel the warm weather and change of seasons! Now there is only some heart burn and discomfort at night getting me ready for the night feedings to come :)This baby has also been taking advantage of the already stretched out space it is currently occupying and seems to be standing up straight most of the time. Please pray that the baby will be in the head down position when it is time to deliver since they seem to flip flop between midwife visits! We were shooting for a home birth but are set to deliver at a birthing center in SC, hopefully if the Lord blesses us again laws will have changed and assisted home birth will be legal/more accessible in NC.

We also have been on a number of trips, half of which I can't think of, but most recently Tampa/Orlando in March (Drakeford was pretty pooped after Disney but had a blast in the rides!)and Chattanooga/Atlanta in May (Stone Mt. was amazing!)

For those of you who haven't heard and are feeling left out, we don't know the sex of the baby and it is to be a surprise for all of us, so don't feel bad!

We are thrilled to be blessed with another little one and we have faith that God's perfect plan will bring glory to Him.

Now we are off to VA Beach tomorrow for a week and are looking forward to a relaxing vacation with our family - with Gramps, Grammy, Uncle Austin, AND Great Great with us there will be no shortage of spoiling and baby help! Praise God for family :)
