Trikes and push cars

What's Drakeford up to...he has that look

We bumped rumps! Marlow isn't crazy about it...
Drakeford loves a good laugh.

Mustache!

Look mom! I have a mustache!

Keep your eyes peeled!

This little five month old is sneaky!

I want to be there

We watched the first half of the Sound of Music tonight with the kids. During the song "Doe a deer" Drakeford said "I want to be a little kid, one of those kids, and be there with them!" I said "yes, I think the same thing every time I watch this movie...wish I was there too!"

But then again we only watched the first half...I wouldn't want to be there for the second half! The beginning of the movie says it is set at the END of the golden thirties. So sad!

During "Sixteen going on seventeen" Marlow laid her head on daddy's shoulder and said "I like you" a couple times. What a sappy girl! How cute!
Drakeford also said he wanted to learn to dance like them. Yup, he's mine :)

What joy to be with the kids.

Sleepy Advice

So I had some dreams last night and I gained some good wisdom from them:

1. Don't take the handle bars off your bike or someone will steal your bike.

2. Don't agree to be the lead in a play unless you can commit to reading the script before opening night.

3. Don't shoot a movie on a house boat without bringing a generator to power everything.

4. Don't go antique shopping without any money or you'll waste your trip.

Sink Holes

For those that aren't local to Huntersville, below are some photos of the recent sink holes a few blocks from our home that came from massive amounts of rain in our area. Roads were closed for a month but everything is fixed and open now.

Then & Now: A year in comparison

Sarah Nicholson took this top photo a year ago, so we recreated it a few weeks ago as best we could. Our kids and their kids, a year apart!

Little Lady Marlow Leilani

Marlow is growing up and is becoming such a beautiful little lady. The more you spend time with her the more she talks - she's got a whole lot to say! I just wanted to share some recent photos from this week. Enjoy!
